WHO MAY FILE APPLICATION
Application may be filed directly by any person or legal entity having an insurable interest in the property. Application may be filed on behalf of the applicant by a Producer licensed by the Maryland Insurance Administration
NEW BUSINESS APPLICATION
The homeowners application form consists of multiple pages.. A completed and signed copy of the application along with a signed copy of the Statement of Additional Optional Coverages Not Included in the Standard Homeowner's Insurance Policy form need to be returned to the Association,. A copy of the cancellation or Non-renewal notice from your present carrier must also amust be submitted to the Association . One copy of the Application and Statement of Additional Optional Coverages Not Included in the Standard Homeowner's Insurance Policy is to be retained by the applicant. You should make a copy of the completed application for your records before sending it to the Association. Upon receipt by the Association the application forms are reviewed for proper completion:

Once completed, the signed application form and any other required forms should be mailed to the Association at:

If applying for Homeowners Insurance, be sure to complete both pages of the application, sign the application and return it with the signed copy of the Statement of Additional Optional Coverages Not Included in the Standard Homeowner's Insurance Policy form.

No properties that are vacant/unoccupied for an extended period of time shall be written.
No vacant/unoccupied property will be approved for coverage until an inspection is made and an Approval Notice is issued by the Joint Insurance Association.
